Capturing a typical London neighbourhood I simply sketched the back streets. We all know the big sights that there are to see but sometimes it's just nice to show what most people don't even notice. The medium again is watercolour and ink, my preferred urban sketching tools.

Gabriela is an Austrian illustrator and paper mechanic currently living and working in Lisbon. She studied illustration in the UK and was the 2nd runner up to 'Emerging Paper Engineers' in 2014 awarded by the Movablebook Society. Gabriela was the paper engineer for 'The Pop-Up Bible' and has since worked on several private commissions for pop-ups as well as illustrations. Her current work is inspired by and evolves around urban landscapes, animals as well as her travels, which are depicted in her illustrations and pop-ups.
