About The Artwork
I was inspired to paint this piece after they walked over to me. I was on the gate. But they were beautiful creatures that lived on the outskirts of Sheridan, Wyoming. I hope the viewer will see them as I did, glorious animals content to be in their pasture. I chose oil for my medium because it is the medium that is most capable of expressing how I feel at the time I am painting. This is a soft painting of awesome and powerful animals.
