This lovely boy is sitting in the dunes, lost in his own world of thoughts. In real life, he was actualy lost since he had wandered of the beach where his family was sitting. After some terrifying moments he was found, not aware of any commotion or drama he had caused. It reminded me of the time that I could lose myself in the clouds when the world was lovely, peaceful and ful of dreams. A happy time to remember. So in this painting you see through the eyes of the child as well as the eyes of the parent who love him so dearly and would wish the world would stay like this for ever.
