The lotus flower rises from the bottom of the pond through the muddy water to become pure and bright, symbolizing rebirth, resurrection and purification. The work was painted after visiting parks in Anshan(China), where I saw the lotus for the first time. Of course, I got the idea to grow this flower in Bulgaria. Experiments in this direction are continuing. As an artist, in 2020 I started with the painting of this flower on hand-made rice paper with ink and traditional Chinese pigment colors. The painting is painted on thin paper, which has been processed using a special technology for exposure. It can be forwarding to you as a scroll. The work will look good with a beige passportu and in a wooden frame, possibly silver.
