Italian challenger Luna Rossa takes advantage of some clean wind to sit high on her foils and outpace the defender Team New Zealand. It’s a while since I’ve sailed and certainly never in something like these magnificent machines, but I love painting the action as I see it in an expressionist style. This original expressionist painting, Luna Rossa 2, has rather intriguing mark making with a vibrant palette making it a perfect nautical statement piece even for the non yachty. People often say that they love my paintings because of the richness of the colors, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.
