This is one of the best paintings i have ever made. It represents the connection between a man and Time. It has a great texture, and fantastic colors. I would like the viewer to feel poetic. I choose lots of water and transparente glue to give the hard paper an aspect of degradation.

I´ ve started drawing and painting at 18 years old, and then discovered worlds of imagination inside of me. And now i feel like i have always been an artist. I am a 43 year old artist, born and raised in Portugal, living near Lisbon. Influences: expressionism (Kirschner, Munch, Basquiat), abstract (Klee, Kandinsky), surrealism (Miró, Dalí, Matta), art brut (Dubuffet), informalism (Tàpies). I try to have a unique view over how the world works. All serious artist try to achive that i think.. Imagination is what inspires me, really. I use acrylic/ mixed media on canvas and black ink on paper. I´m mainly self taught, and very proud of it. I have sold some drawings and paintings: more than Van Gogh and fewer than Gerhard Richter... :-) My drawings are unique items, one of a kind artworks: from children to art lovers, everyone loves them. My painting is more agressive: primary colors, african masks, fabrics and objects, strange symbols. I intend to make a strong visual shock, so the viewer can reach a new dimension.
