Mail pouch barn with wildflowers Painting

These paintings were inspired by fond memories of warm childhood road trips with my family. It seemed that there was always an old barn, and the most special ones had signs painted on them. The Mail Pouch barns always were special, as our grandfather chewed Mail Pouch tobacco. He was a wonderful man and we loved him dearly. I painted these as a tribute to the innocence of childhood, memories of old country roads, and a beloved Granddad. The edges of the work is painted, and so, requires no frame.
