About The Artwork
I have been working at and making art of the iconic Sunset Blvd. hotel, The Chateau Marmont, for the past 12 years in ink, acrylic, watercolor, ink, marker, pencil, pastel and charcoal. This piece, "Map of the Stars"came out when I was thinking about all of the small moments inside the castle walls that I saw over the years working and making art there. The room keys, the faun drink stirrer, the hidden guest room phone in the lobby and all of the beautiful architectural moments.
