*Midsummer Dream" Painting

"MIDSUMMER DREAM" is an inspiration from a beautiful summer day spent in the forest.This design arrangement is derived entirely from my own observation and imagination and depicts my love for an evergreen environment. One calm, overcast summer day, I found myself resting under an oak tree, enjoying the cooling effect of shadows from the tall trees and admiring the lush green beauty around me. The dark sunless sky provided a canopy of silver clouds floating over my head. I came across a magnificent display of rich colours with hues of green, gold, crimson and auburn foliage – a sight never seen before. A single touch of gentle breeze created the sound of rustling leaves singing and dancing with joy. Sitting in the emerald forest and smelling the fragrance of pine needles gave me an ideal setting to give birth to this work of art. Leaving behind the pure, clean forest peacefully sleeping under the dark grey sky I traveled back, keeping my “Midsummer Dream” alive. The piece is on high grade cotton stretched canvas, titled, signed and dated at the back. All material used in its production are of top quality to last the test of time. Colours are Winsor & Newton professional acrylic paints and the wooden frame around is of teak wood. It is ready to hang with fixed hinges and wire.
