About The Artwork

In this stunning oil painting, the artist presents a lush bouquet of yellow mimosa blossoms, artfully arranged within a transparent glass vase. The vibrant mimosa bouquet takes center stage against a background awash in shades of violet and azure. The painting's style beautifully captures the essence of Impressionism, with bold, expressive brushstrokes that evoke a sense of spontaneity and light. The focal point of the composition is the bountiful mimosa bouquet, with its golden-yellow blossoms delicately portrayed in an explosion of color. The background, painted in varying shades of violet and azure, creates a harmonious contrast to the vibrant yellow mimosa. The result is a painting that radiates warmth, joy, and the promise of spring. The painting transports viewers to a world of botanical splendor, inviting them to revel in the vibrant beauty of the mimosa blooms. It encourages us to pause and appreciate the fleeting moments of nature's brilliance, to savor the fragrant aroma of fresh blossoms, and to find solace in the harmony of colors and forms.

Self-knowledge is what my art gives me. I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of uncertainty that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me. The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so. The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew. I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work. I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
