Contact us.I was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1977. I have a technical and rural background. I was influenced by both precise, logical thinking and the seemingly endless freedom of nature at the same time.
Lately, I have been increasingly interested in the areas where the built and natural environment meet. Abandoned, former industrial buildings or operating but lesser-known facilities, construction sites, machines, and structures. I can reinterpret my paintings based on photos taken during my exploration tours, using precise post-processing in a studio environment. In practice, this means that the message and the formal solutions are important to me, but not necessarily and not always in the same proportion.
My painting is aligned with modern realist traditions, but I also enjoy using the tools of sketchiness and impressionism. My primary goal is to present to the viewer these environments that I find interesting, and that are of interest to the viewer. At the same time, I want to convey something of the spirit of the times, the public mood and the social point of view. I believe that despite the inundation of today's world with images, there is a future and expressive power in classical imagery, traditional materials and the overall contingency of painting.
