Painted to hang alongside 'Butterfly' as part of the exhibition at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon, this painting was inspired by the West End show Miss Saigon. I wanted to capture the drama and agony that Eva Noblezada created in her performance by accentuating her features and soaking our the background with dark richness to spotlight her emotion.
