ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of a collection of oil paintings I have done featuring a mirror. It makes for a wistful, reflective - perhaps romantic - feeling. The muted colours are suggestive of memories and times past with something of a vintage look but the use of a palette knife to apply the paint adds immediacy to this painting. The sides are left white ready to hang but suitable for framing if preferred. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back.
