Moon Night on the Lake Painting

"Moon Night on the Lake" is one of the first works of Yurii Cherevan, the painting was created in 1982. It belongs to the early period of his creativity, the artist was 16 years old at the time of its creation. We see that during working on this painting the artist was inspired by the beauty of Kazakhstan, namely Жоғарғы Тайынты (the name of the place captured in the painting). At that time Yurii studied at school, looked for his own style in painting, he already visited St. Petersburg. It was first time when he saw the works of the famous Russian artist Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi. It was Kuindzhi 's work that inspired Yuri to draw the lake 's surface in such gentle subtlety detail. The moon is like bathing in the reflection of a lake. The painting shows the co-image of the Moon 's light and lake glade. But the air and clouds glittering in the night skyscraper are pictured a bit in a different style. The manner of the image of air, light and clouds Yuri adopted from such masters of world painting as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. They inspired him a lot. It is a unique work, one of the few preserved paintings of Yuri. It is worth mentioning that the painting surprisingly accurately conveys the young romantic mood of the artist, his faith in the future. The future, like the night, is covered in mysterious moonlight, mysteries. When you look at this work, you immediately unwittingly hear the famous The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27, No. 2, popularly known as the Moonlight Sonata. .......................... "Лунная ночь на озере" является одной из первых работ Юрия Черевань, картина создана в 1982 году и относится к раннему периоду его творчества, художнику было 16 лет на момент её создания. Мы видим, что при работе над данной картиной художник вдохновлялся красотами Казахстана, а именно Жоғарғы Тайынты (название места, запечатленного на картине). В то время Юрий учился в школе, искал свой собственный стиль в живописи, он уже успел побывать в Санкт-Петербурге и впервые увидел работы знаменитого русского художника Архипа Ивановича Куинджи. Именно работы Куинджи вдохновили Юрия изобразить поверхность озера в таких нежных тончайших деталях. Луна словно купается в отражении озера. Картина показывает соитие света Луны и озерной глади. Но воздух и облака, сверкающие в ночном небосклоне, изображены немного в ином стиле. Манеру изображения воздуха, света и облаков Юрий перенял у таких мастеров мировой живописи, как Michelangelo и Leonardo da Vinci. Это уникальная работа, одна из немногих сохранившихся полотен Юрия того временного периода. Стоит заметить, что нельзя не сказать о том, что картина удивительно точно передает юный романтический настрой художника, его веру в будущее. Будущее как и ночь, покрыта таинственным лунным светом, тайнами и мистериями. Когда смотришь на данную работу, то ты сразу невольно слышишь знаменитую Сонату для фортепиано № 14 до-диез минор, ор. 27, № 2, наиболее известную как "Лунная соната".
