About The Artwork

▶ARTWORK INSPIRATION Abstract Portrait in scarlet and red shades with yellow and blue accents. This painting was inspired by Sandro Botticelli's «Portrait of a Woman». I made an abstract interpretation of the portrait, the woman dissolves in the picture, and merges with the glare of light and color. ▶ ARTWORK DETAILS and HANGING «Muse of Botticelli » - original, one of a kind handmade artwork. Singed, titled, and dated on the back. The certificate of authenticity of the painting is included. The backsides of the picture are painted black, the frame is not required or optional. Once the artwork was purchased, I will install a hanging hook on the backside. The artwork ships ready to hang. Please, note that artwork ships unframed. The frame you can view on the images is for illustration purposes only. ▶ MEDIUM and SIZE ●This picture was painted on a good quality heavyweight 360g \ m2 natural cotton gallery wrapped canvas, stretched on a wooden frame ● Professional acrylic and glass paint ●The painting is covered with a protective glossy varnish ● Size‎ (cm) 50 x 50 x 4 ● Size‎ (inches) 19.6 x 19.6 x 1.5 ▶SHIPPING ● Order processing time up to 3 days ● DHL shipping worldwide during 5 - 14 days ● I ship the paintings in a secure cardboard box and pack them very carefully for safe delivery

▶ Mariia Raskin is an abstract award-winning artist born in 1979 in Kazakhstan and currently Turkey-based. Graduated with honors from Moscow Textile University in 2001 with a degree in fashion design, she had been changing many art-related professions: body- art master, make-up artist, shop window designer, graphic designer, fashion and book illustrator. Graduated with honors in 2014 from Triphon Icon Painting School, she had been working as an icon painter for 5 years. The most satisfaction she gets has been working since 2019 as a full-time artist. Mariia's painting technique - combining acrylic, oil, watercolor and glass paints, helps her to achieve planned ideas and gives unusual and deep color schemes. She uses wide volumetric palette knife strokes with careful subtle details drawing to make viewers feel the contrasting combination of energy and serenity in her artworks. Mariia has been featured in art publications, solo and group exhibitions locally and internationally. Her artworks are in private collections in the USA, Germany, Cyprus, Turkey, and Russia. ▶2022 - current time International Association of Art Member ( IAA ) ▶Juror in Apexart, not-for-profit contemporary visual arts organization, Lower Manhattan, New York, founded in 1994 ▶ All of us are the smallest particles of the world and at the same time reflections of the entire universe in all its grandeur and diversity. And one day I realized that I unconsciously create my paintings according to the same principle: from carefully traced smallest details, from small pieces the whole is created. And the main feature of these images is the ambiguity, the mystery, which each viewer sees and unravels in his own way. I call my paintings «Enigma Abstracts»‎. Through various color combinations and graphic forms, I transfer the play of emotions and feelings in their visual embodiment. The art objects in the paintings are intertwined with the background, they do not appear immediately but emerge as if from the depths. Their presence on the canvas is first felt and only after this feeling they can be seen. Each viewer sees something different and is absolutely free to interpret what he sees. This possibility for the viewer to make his or her own choice is the most important thing for me in my work.
