About The Artwork
I brought to this composition a touch more organic or more aquatic while remaining in the idea of something underground and telluric. The whole is stable and balanced in a closed and isolated whole on the surface of the painting. The transparent and light forms, some of which float like clouds, represent the natural elements. The extreme dilution of acrylic brings the transparency of water and air, black and brown remind the earth. The organic cell and the mountainous landscape coexist in the same confined and abstract space. The technique very unusual for me consisted mainly of orienting each dilution in a precise direction avoiding overflows and choosing the zones of transparency. https://youtu.be/dzwka2My_JY
