My Lucifer Painting

"My Lucifer" is a tribute artwork (Enamels and acrylics on unstretched canvas) to a famous Jackson Pollock's painting from 1947 called "Lucifer". This piece comes UNSTRETCHED rolled in a sturdy tube to eliminate chances of damage during transport of such a large work of art. This is an artwork from ongoing series by Rasko that he started to create in 2015. Obviously hardly influenced by Jackson Pollock, but Rasko loves to use different, more vivid and daring colour pallets. Either warm or cold, but most of the time he loves to use colours that contrast each-other. Majority of works are created in larger format. Rasko actually paints this kind of work on the floor, using sticks, old brushes and other objects to create lines in different thickness. He describes this technique in a few words: "Painting on the floor and in larger format is so much fun and interactive! I get all dirty and messy and I feel as a child again! Ultimate Freedom."
