"My last fight" Painting

Born in the artists’ quarter of Montmartre in Paris, Amin developed a passion for painting by watching professionals create their works on the Place du Terte from the age of six.

The proximity of the Moulin Rouge cabaret in the red light district of Pigalle also got the young artist interested the female form and classical nude paintings. 

After studying fine art at the Chateau D'Eau Schools in Paris, Amin had a stint in the army before moving to London where he studied at Camberwell College of Arts. 

Following student and graduation shows, Amin was featured on the reality TV show about talented young artists Young, Gifted & Broke aired on ITV.

The up-and-coming painter then embarked on a series of sensual exhibitions, most notably the Skin Two Show at The Barbican and the Erotica Show at The Olympia. 

During a short spell in Catalonia, Amin delved into his Spanish roots and explored the art of bullfighting, which led him to create matador paintings symbolising the emancipation of the autonomous regions and the decades-long oppression of the country during the Franco regime.

The underground artist uses vibrant colours, especially red ones in his large nudes, bullfighting scenes and abstract stripe paintings, which have been acquired by private collectors.

A multi-media artist, Amin has also branched out into street photography in the capital, capturing magical moments and the quirkiness of London characters he typically immortalises in black and white.
