About The Artwork

ORIGINAL Artwork by Lidia Kuneca Title: My lovely baby Size, Medium: 12x16cm acrylic on cardboard Style: interiors, figurative Description: In the artwork are used earthy colors that create the contrast of chiaroscuro. The painting has a slightly dramatic tone. The artwork "My lovely baby" carries a deep emotion for the artist. Is a painting that marked the soul of its creator. The image of a baby toy that lies down on a bag, is a memory of a good friend. This friend bought the toy from a second-hand store and believed it to be her true baby. She was acting like a mother with it, as if that toy was alive. Kissing it good night, "feeding", washing it, singing, etc. One day the baby toy was down on the floor, on her bag, lifeless. That marked the awekening to the real world as that was just a toy.
