About The Artwork
For this series I have painted outside in Woeste Westen, a natural playground, whilst my son was playing. For a few months I painted this series, bringing the canvas and paint on the bike along with me. I dyed the canvas as I admired the plants and beauty to then paint them. I also have been taking pictures of different flora to integrate in the paintings. Each time there was a similar base of several pieces.
