ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of a series created referencing the Jurassic Coast, a dramatic stretch of land in Dorset, UK. I am interested in escaped spots of light sing out from vast spaces, particularly at night. My work is emotionally charged.. I get into a rhythm of mark-making, constantly changing the composition and structure until a piece works. This is why some of my pieces are very tactile. I hope you like.
