I was born in Salinas California, U.S.A. I currently reside in San Bernardino, California. I lived a major part of my life going back and forth between the U.S and Mexico, when I was a child, that being the State of California and Baja California. While it was hard to adapt to the cultures of both countries, I always was mesmerized of the landscapes and nature that both regions had. I was attracted to the beauty of nature, and learned the importance of preserving it as the highest valued treasure. With the clean weather and the vivid wildlife being part of my environment, I adhered my visual experiences to my paintings as the perfect topic to engage with and narrate. There is, when contrasting many lands of the world, a drastic lack of justice for nature and its importance in someone's psyche. I started elaborating paintings inspired by my Homeland's views, and transmit waves of serenity with life. The devastating part of this matter, is that humanity has to engage extensively on impeding the disappearance of nature by the contamination made by the majority of unknowledgeable individuals.
The paintings are the reflections of humanity’s sentiments towards life. The imagery explores abstract issues between humanism and nature. My ideal vision is where a single-minded world with only flora and fauna fulfill the heart. I recreate visuals in a surrealistic style, with acrylics that alternate between vivid and muted pigments. The intentions of the artistic scenes are to deliver wonder, a thought on how every single action will rest in clouds of cleansing—as everything must end orderly as the rain renovates the atmosphere.
The paintings initiate the pursuit of one’s hope, such idea strengthened by stories, beliefs, or stand-alone aesthetics for empowerment. Presenting the beauty of lands, or the fundamental relationship between beings, showcases the vital importance of conserving nature and the psychological status of individuals. There is hope in every piece; it is hope that boosts the individual onward, while intense adversities are yet to fade. My paintings invite people to contemplate imagery that narrates humanity’s tension in connecting with the world. Hope will forever be a constant matter to attend.
