Medium: Oil on canvas In my style of work and paintings i´d like to conserve the plain character of linen and colours. We – linen, colours and me – are acting like friends in a discussion with target of best result. After opening the roll of linen i accept the character of linen, sometimes it has some strong crinkles, sometimes it is pretty plain. With this step the creation of picture has started. The first impression of linen is like first phrase of discussion. I don´t like to modify the linen, i will follow the natural character. I only prime the linen to conserve structure of her and give her best condition to assimilate the colours. For my paintings i don´t use brushes – i only use my hands to feel the colour and structure of linen. With my hands i follow the structure of linen, so we three together are creating the picture. This natural character should not be destroyed with stretching the painting, also the natural border of linen with fluff and spikes will be conserved and not cutted to be smooth & gentle. For these paintings the best way of transport is to roll them, protected with bubble wrap, and package in a solid tube. These paintings are never planned to stretch them and they will not be damaged, when they will be rolled. The elementary difference between my pictures and classic style is that classic style will be stretched, the fibers are thin, covered with colour, and if they will be unmounted from frame and rolled the fibers can be damaged. My primer is made by myself and has a high durability and solidness. So it is possible to mount the picture on wall or from ceiling with only two transparency cords and two hooks on backside. The collector only needs to unroll the picture on the ground and within one, two days the painting will recover and it´s ready for mounting.
