About The Artwork
It is a unique image and in that it is the first painting that I created right outside the Masaryk Square in Ostrava on June 11, 2014. The painting was created during a hot summer afternoon. Concept image is inspired by the events and atmosphere of this unique day and distinctiveness of Ostrava. For me, I represent change and transformation. It reflects the hope of a better tomorrow in the Ostrava region. Change and rise. It displays a knight in armor and past Ostrava symbolic representation of black mining towers in the bottom left.
