October patchwork quilt Painting

Yes exactly)! The still life is based on a patchwork quilt. It seemed to me very appropriate such a definition of my October and my still life. The very first thing - in October, of course, you want to wrap yourself up in a warm blanket. And after the grandiose golden September, nature is falling apart, like falling colorful leaves of autumn. I already wrote that I often want to create an atmosphere of comfort and coziness in the canvas space, with the sensations of this time. But here I really wanted to grasp the eternal values, since everywhere there was news only about the pandemic and everything seemed unstable. Therefore, a little more I immersed myself in the cultural heritage of my ancestors, I dived as if into the sand of time, and decided to paint my still life. You know, you don't need a lot .. a basket of birch bark, a rug of which my grandmother had a lot and even some still remained, a lamp on kerosene with an elegant line of a glass bulb .. The palette of October with a colorful textured layer settled on the canvas with such a mood.
