About The Artwork
Inspired by the back waters of Kerala , the lotus fill the waters and create a scene that is serene and beautiful. Lotus is a symbol of awakening to the spiritual reality of life in Hinduism and Buddhism. In the Lord Vishnu is called Padmanabha as a lotus issues from his navel with Brahma on it. Goddess Sarasvati is portrayed on a white-colored lotus and Goddess Laxmi sits on a pink Lotus.
