Original Sunrise Seascape - Can You See Me? Painting

While painting is always my first passion I also love to be out in nature and capture a moment by way of a photo that will inspire my artwork at a later date. I came across a picture the other day while sorting out some folders of one I'd take at the beach some years ago. The moment I saw the image I knew I'd have to get out my palette knife and paint this original sunrise seascape - "Can You See Me?". Our memories are so powerful that they can take you back to another place and time, in an instant. They transport us to how felt in the moment, for me that day it was the energy of the sea, so powerful as the waves crashed to the sea shore, the delicious salty smell standing above the waves looking out at the amazing promise of another sunrise with it's majestic coat of colours, changing minute by minute as dawn breaks.
