PRIMITIVE-17.2.16 Painting

In this series we perceive the search for semplicity through signs and colors as an expression of my emotional and spiritual experience of reality in this period of my artistic life. The title refers both to primitive art but especially to the concept of geometric primitives (point, line, area) that, for example, the technology GIS uses to model geometry of real-world objects. Simplification of expressive approach, with reference to vector geometric primitives, is increasing complexity structure, toward the definition of more complex areas located on different layers. This approach differs from that used in my previous abstract in which was centered on an occupancy of the space where it is the object that defines the primitive that surrounds it. Materials: tela belle arti Gallery 80x80x1,5cm, liquitex professional heavy body, liquitex professional soft body acrylic, polycolor maimeri acrylic, louvre acrylic. Borders are painted. Framed (like in the photo). Acrylic on canvas 80x80x1,5 cm, signed on the front, framed (84x84x3,5 cm). A final glossy varnish is applied. The painting will be shipped attached to the frame with double-sided tape and hooks and screws aside so you can easily remove the frame if you did not like. Please fasten with hooks before hanging.
