About The Artwork

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Dereza Anatoly Fedorovich - was born on April 20, 1952, in the city of Horlivka, Donetsk region. Graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Art and Industry (1979). Teachers in the specialty: B. Kosarev, A. Konstantinopolsky, A. Pronin. He worked in the field of painting, monumental and decorative arts. He specialized in the field of monumental and easel painting (thematic painting, portrait, landscape, still life). Compositional and coloristic solutions reproduce the customs and rituals of the Ukrainian people. The artist uses folk song themes. Watercolors attract with poetry, high skill, subtle sense of the peculiarities of the nature of Ukraine, Central Asian countries, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland. The monumental work was done in the techniques of mosaic, painting, stained glass, sgraffito and others. The plasticity of the image and the colors of the artist's stained-glass windows are based on the Ukrainian ritual folk art. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990). Associate Professor (2000). He worked at the Donetsk art and industrial plant (until 1999); at the same time - the chairman of the youth association, Donetsk branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980-1985); teacher of painting, drawing and composition at the Donetsk Art School (1980-1999); Lecturer (1999), Associate Professor of the Department of Architectural Design of the Donbass Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (2000); Chairman of the Donetsk organization National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2001-2005). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, all-union, international (since 1979). Personal exhibitions - in Kiev (1990, 2002), Donetsk (1990, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2005), Yalta (AR Crimea, 1991), Gorlovka (1991, 1996), Katowice (Poland, 1991), Bardiivi ( Slovakia, 1993), Bochum (Germany, 1993), Örebro (Sweden, 1998-1999), Henvizi (Hungary, 1999), Ukraine (Donetsk region, 2006). Major works: "Portrait of the national master T. Viplaveni" (1980); stained-glass windows - a series of 6 compositions "Circle of life" (1990-1993) "Roses and cockroaches" (1986), "Still life in the interior" (1987), "Academy" (2000); stained-glass windows - Metallurgists (1980), Orbit (1983); triptych - "Roses and cockroaches" (1989); painting - "George", "People's master P. Viplaveni" (1980), "Change is coming" (1982), "Chernobyl is a bitter grass" (1985), "First thaw" (1989), "The way to Gurzuf "(1992)," Self-portrait "(1994)," Mother "(1997)," Autumn Erebro "(1998)," Gate of the Sun "," Donetsk Sea "(1999)," Autumn Still Life ", “Svyatogorye” (2000), “Kalmius in the fall”, “Lily” (2001); graphics - "Fog by a Yarom, a Valley", "Steppe.
