ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Panchamam, PA, the sweet fifth swara of Carnatic music; The one that is influenced by the springtime sound of the koel; The one that is connected with Saturn and so is depicted in blue colour; The one that is connected with our throat chakra… In some ancient literature these swaras are depicted as Devtas or Gods. This is such a deep and interesting subject.. I could only gather a limited amount of knowledge. Music, nature, soul chakras and the whole cosmos is interconnected. Tried to capture the spirit in acrylic on canvas.
