Painting: Acrylic, Oil Pastel on Wood.
Painted from a memory of me and my partner walking through central park and seeing a man playing the song "somewhere over the rainbow" to a disabled boy, it was beautiful, and that song is very personal and a sign for me that relates to my mother. It was a magical moment and then seconds later a tout was trying to sell us tickets and ended up being rude and not very nice. It was an example of how light can sit up against more negative situations yet we as humans with free will always have a choice in where we choose to put out attention to. I then imagined my mum in the skies, playing freely, not touched by these menial human problems as she has transcended past this vibration.
