About The Artwork
This work was inspired by my youth. I lived in a rural area and as kids we roamed pretty freely, crossing overgrown fence rows, crossing often more than one property belonging to another family. This picture reminds me of the clearings between stands of trees, the passages and trails we found, maintained, or created. It was a time of delicious freedom.
