Meled Taouk is an Australian born artist who has been developing a style which is essential to his purpose of expressing the ‘honest self’. “My art is derived from within, I draw my inspiration from real experiences”. The Artist believes all artistic vision is inherently from an internal source that can only be considered as divine. He is known to draw from his own personal experiences that he witnesses within the boundaries of his life, from all that he has felt internally, to the many emotions he feels throughout his life. “I never really look at my Art, I am the Art itself’. Meled approaches his work with a conceived idea or an elusive image at first, encouraging a set style or attitude to be taken on as an expressive outlet, and then eventually he become stimulated as the work takes a life of its own through an emotional outlet during the performance of the work. “I become captivated by the works progressive development, encouraging what works to hold or expose a subconscious truth and beauty, creating a life of its own”.
