About The Artwork
Some years ago I walked along this path that tooks to an incan Sanctuary. That day I started the trip at dawn and after some hours i found this abandonded cottages, with the Sacred Mountain and ruins of Waqrapucara in the background. I could'n resist the temptation of making a quick watercolor of this view. The impressive landscapes along all the route are enough to understand the great respect that the Incan Civilization had to nature even at the hour to build their structures. Back home I had a sketchbook full of drawings and watercolors as a memory of this journey, waiting to become into larger paintings. This was one of them. Watercolor on 300gsm cotton paper
