About The Artwork
I find beauty in the simplicity of human interactions. This original acrylic painting showcases the power of friendship and love through the movement of five male figures running nude on the beach. Their well-defined bodies and great posture are emphasized by the dark colors in contrast with the bright and airy waves crashing into them. The water serves as a symbol of new beginnings, a cleanse for the body and soul. The sand, a beautiful light brown, sticks to their feet, further emphasizing the sense of freedom and joy in their movements. I intentionally leave portions of the canvas "unfinished," allowing the viewer to use their imagination to build the story. With this series, I capture the essence of the male figure, using ink and watercolor to create dynamic gesture lines and splashes of color. Please note that this original acrylic painting will not be shipped on the stretcher boards to ensure safe and efficient shipping. Instead, the painting will be carefully removed from the stretcher boards and rolled in a tube for mailing.
