PEGASUS KEY Painting

From my original work. This is the heavenly image of Pegasus and a girl holding Tulips and a key. The key is a small but very important element because it open doors, and also because during the time that I was painting I have received a key with a winged horse, so I wanted to include this connection, but instead painting the key with the winged horse I have painted the horse. The horse is the real key. The girl has tulips petals in her head and she seems to have also wings blended with the wings of Pegasus. The right side of the image seems to vanish with an ethereal look but both sides keeps a fragment of a music notes from a melody. The first piece that came to my mind was “The top of the morning” by Mike Oldfield, so I have painted a few notes from this piece of music. Signed in front. Pegasus (Greek: Πήγασος, Pḗgasos; Latin: Pegasus, Pegasos) is a mythical winged divine horse, and one of the most recognized creatures in Greek mythology. Usually depicted as pure white, Pegasus is the offspring of the Olympian god Poseidon. According to legend, everywhere the winged horse struck his hoof to the earth, an inspiring water spring burst forth.
