ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Idea of this painting has come after writing my poem "Odys" dedicated to my husband and it is an answer for cycle of jazz music by Marek Stachowski, titled "Odys among the white keys". Painting was exhibited in Grodzka Art Gallery in Krakow, August-September 2016 (title of the exhibition: "Trace" - Ślady)

Agnieszka Jagna Safińska, born in Cracow in Poland - painter, classical dancer, ballet teacher, choreographer, music therapist, poet. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Lodz, Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow - Department of Painting and the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting. Jagna Safińska paints portraits (especially children), landscapes, still life, abstract paintings and a series of fairy paintings under the general title "Turquoise adventures of a cat". The artist has been exhibiting individually and collectively. She belongs to the Association of Polish Visual Artists.
