This painting represents the upper part of a building in Upper East Side, New York, in the light of a late afternoon. This is a very interesting Architecture for me, in wich you find the influence of the Italian Architecture in the decorative use of the breaks in two different colors and the use of the shingles of the roof, quiet unusual for a costruction in an American City.

I was born in Florence in 1968 where I still live and work. I'm a self-taught painter, my teacher in primary school was a painter too, so she introduced me to the painting when I was a child. After the end of the secondary school I dedicated myself to the painting; in the meantime I started working in The Opera House of Florence "Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino" as mime, where I still work.
