About The Artwork
White peonies were brought from the Moscow region by my friend. I was inspired by beauty, tenderness, the scent of wonderful flowers. And I captured this bouquet in still life. Asia (China), the south of Europe and the west of North America are considered the birthplace of the first flowers. In China, even 1500 years ago, the tree-like peony adorned the imperial gardens and was the personification of beauty. In China, the peony is called the "royal flower". Peony is a symbol of love, wealth and happiness.
