About The Artwork
Similarly to 'TVC15' this piece plays on the television/photography as an act of self preservation. Mick Jagger is the focus of this work, the two paintings compromise of a duo and are intended to be hung one underneath the other. In both paintings the colours are sickly, almost alien, contrasting with the usual idea of an attractive 'Pop' painting, and adds to the notion that maybe something isn't quite right with our incessant need for documentation through social media.
