I started to create artwork of animals when I was just a little boy, always loved animals and dreamt about having my own pet one-day, just like many other children do. My schoolmates dreamt about riding horses, however I wanted a dog! Even though I have been painting all my life, the curvy road persisted to lead me to needless paths over and over again. Only once I couldn’t find a new job and ran out of money I opened up my eyes, finally dared to follow my heart and pursue my passion for painting once and for all. Well, I didn’t have a choice did I? Now, as an artist and animal lover I’m a person who is passionate about things, I dream big and dare to follow. To paint is a spiritual thing and so is the love we feel for our pets! I knew exactly what I wanted to do; I just didn’t have a clue what I have gotten myself into when I started out. My dream was to paint subjects I love all days long, helping people who love their pets, capturing a moment, the personality. In reality, what I really had to do was to work hard with all other things around the business, my website, copywriting, marketing and much more. I only managed to create a few portraits each month. I went from being unemployed, a dreamer with a baggage of many setbacks in life to a hard-working professional pet portrait artist, making my dream a reality. Time went by and I realized there was no other way of living for me. I never wanted to go back from something that was my true passion in life, painting animals is way too self-rewarding. That’s what people call “starving artists”. I continued on the road to create the life I wanted and grew both as a person and as an artist. I have developed a unique style of painting and drawing pets; they look painterly and lifelike at the same time. With many years of experience in my field I know exactly what my clients need and deserve. I would like to know your pet and the life you’ve shared together and implement those elements into my work. After all day by day I improved my life style and I got a job also. Now I am an employer and that is because drawing. What is your pet for you? We all have different relations to our pets, however for most of us animal lovers a pet is not only a friend, he is family.
