Pictorical Process (polyptych) Painting

Luisa Editore Santiago, Chile, 1953 Lives and works in Sao Paulo since 1977 Luisa Editore works mainly as a painter. Gradually, she has got interested in the inherent process of painting, incorporating remains of paint and masking tape, as well as unfolding the color palette of her canvases into diptychs and polyptychs. Thus the artist reveals the core of her pictorial construction. She graduated in Textile Design in the University of Chile. In Brazil, she has regularly attended open and institutional art courses. In 2013, Editore held a solo exhibition called “Desvio para o Branco / Deviation into White” at the Oscar Cruz art gallery, in Sao Paulo. She also has been taking part in several national and international collective exhibitions such as “Azimute” and “Independência ou Morte”, both at Projeto Fidalga in São Paulo; “O Princípio da Volatilidade” at the Smith galery in Sao Paulo; “Aluga-se 500 Gr” at the Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Ribeirão Preto and “Photo Fidalga – Itinerância” at the Quase Galeria, in Porto, Portugal. ____ Contact: www.galeriaoscarcruz.com
