Pieces above Painting

This work is part from my metal series. I’m exploring the shades, reflections, shine and correspond between these characteristics of the copper metal and copper colored paint. This searching is also focused on interaction between different textures with copper. Like wood, stone etc. Pieces above is a painting representing details like a part from the bigger and the bigger as a part of the details. It's the basic nature for most shapes and the interaction between them. It was made together with the painting "Pieces", exploring the dark and the bright side of the visual contact. *Please note, that the copper details can vary depending of lighting angle.
