My name is Federico García, and I was born in Venezuela in 1965. I studied at the Arturo Michelena School of Fine Arts in Valencia, Venezuela, 1970. My love for nature made me study agriculture at the Jesuit technical school; with it, I became interested in photography of the environment. During my trips around the world, I made photographic albums on the life of different cultures. As a photographer, I worked for the UN. We created a project called Artists of Peace, and it sought to encourage peace through art, in this, I found part of my inspiration for the creation of artistic works with transcendental messages, intending to instil a collective conscience for the peace of humanity and the well-being of the environment. Due to the political situation of Venezuela, we had to emigrate. I have been able to learn many valuable lessons that I want to transmit through my work, which I'm currently carrying out in the heart of Cheltenham, Uk. The current evolution of my work it's based on the union of multiple stone-shaped frames, conforming a three-dimensional texture of a solid wall, where I present my oils as graffitis with transcendental themes linked to our human existence, combining the duality of good and bad, known or to be known. I want to create with my style, the crack that breaks that old mental dam and make people's ideas flow out of the square box. No line resists the curvature of the Universe.
