About The Artwork
On a recycled tablex base, I have captured a daily scene at the end of the afternoon on the beach, in which groups are formed, and this one is of two girls playing cards. I have eliminated the other nearby groups, because I wanted to focus the scene on them because of their color and posture they seemed more interesting and dynamic. I have used oil somewhat diluted in white spirit to be able to make the forms flow more easily on the somewhat absorbent and rough base material, but good as a durable support. Emphasize that light and color prevail and for this I have created a background in warm color to highlight the cold colors of the group.
