About The Artwork
Inspired by the war in Ukraine. Poppies is the symbol of peace. I saw artillery shell at Stand with Ukraine antiwar rally. It was Ukrainian folk engraving on it made by Ukrainian commander officer right on the front line. This shell was standing on the tribune covered with traditional Ukrainian towel. This paining background depicts either Ukrainian city during blackout or Holocaust memorial in Berlin.
