About The Artwork
I wanted to paint something that would remind people of the main town of Aegina, Greece. I decided to go with a warm feeling of golden hour. That is when I think the town looks really beautiful and memorable. During this time of year the sun sets right in front of the buildings and their color glow with brilliance. I feel like I’m getting better at finding special colors that really sing and give off the feeling of a dream-like atmosphere. I’m so happy with how this piece came out and I’ve never been more excited about painting!
