About The Artwork
This is a portrait I painted in order to confirm to myself that I could produce a relatively big portrait in this photorealistic style. I used a technique of the old masters with background painting in sienna red, which is usually known from the oil painting technique. I was very satisfied with the result and the work has hung in my studio since it was created. Now is the time to let it go and offer it. I am looking forward to your feedback!
