Featuring the flame pea flower, this work is about fire, and its ability to destroy, transform and reinvigorate. It blends together the experience of the first Gulf War, and the Black Saturday bushfires in Australia. "Fire" here also represents the more difficult circumstances and struggles we face, and how we can be our best selves in and because of those moments.
