About The Artwork
Inspired from the film and poem “Life of Glide” by snowboarder Jeromy Jones. The work focuses on expressing the rapture of carving fresh powder on a snowboard, any one who has felt this can realate to the feelings of freedom and weightlessness. The feelings are suggested by the outer space like sky, giving a prescience of another world. The painting is also painted on a cut rectangle of a skate board and is part of a series featuring other expressions from board sports.
